A mother has battered her daughter to death for allegedly taking photographs without permission. The eight-year-old a nursery pupil at Nyakweri Primary School collapsed and died after the battering at their home in Mfangano island. Area Chief Patrick Lumumba Otieno said the 34 year-old mother (name withheld) beat up Charity Ngilu who had taken photos to school without the mother's permission.
