ACK Bishop Julius Kalu yesterday cancelled a trip to Tana River, following renewed violence that killed seven people. Kalu, alongside other clergies from the Anglican church, had planned to distribute food and other items to the displaced families. “We were leaving Mombasa when I called the DC to inform him that we were on the way, but he said we had to cancel our plans because there was tension again and scores of people had died,” he said.
