REGISTRATION of voters in Kitengela began yesterday after the IEBC bowed to the demand of the local leaders. The exercise failed to take off on Monday after the local leadership discovered that the IEBC had erroneously moved Kitengela Primary School and Noonkopir Secondary School polling stations from Oloosirkon/Sholinke ward from Kitengela/Ololitikosh ward against the legal mapping of the electoral wards and polling stations. The IEBC coordinator for Kajiado East, Jennifer Mugambi, confirmed that registration of voters in all the eleven polling stations began early in the morning.
