Mombasa top KCPE pupils to get Sh1 million reward

The Mombasa government has a special award for the county’s top candidates in the 2013 KCPE examination. Governor Hassan Joho had pledged Sh1 million for the top primary school pupil, best secondary student and their class teachers. The Sh4 million Governor’s Award will be given out each year in prize ceremonies immediately after the KCPE and KCSE results are released. However, this year two candidates tied in the top position.
