ALL the 18 officials elected on Wednesday for the Othaya branch are allied to the area parliamentary aspirant Mary Wambui. The TNA party supporters choose to elect the officials who are allied to Wambui who is vying for the seat on a TNA ticket and swept all the seats from the four wards of Karima, Chinga, Mahiga and Iria-ini. In the chaotic elections held at Othaya CDF hall, supporters of another parliamentary aspirant Peter King’ara were defeated amid protests of illegularities.
