China to destroy ivory, trophies on Monday

The Chinese government plans to destroy several tonnes of confiscated ivory and other wildlife products in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province on Monday, to demonstrate its commitment in combating the multi-billion dollar illegal wildlife trade.
