KENYA Forest Growers Association has asked the government to solve felling and movement permits issues. In a statement, the association’s communications officer Milly Kamau said solving these issues will minimise bureaucracy. “This will help in levelling the market fields, applications of the new Forest Act as to the approval of management plans,” she said. Kamau said that despite high investments, private growers are not represented in the principle decision making organs of the state.
