A Council of Imams’ meeting to identify aspirants who will vie for elective positions in Isiolo failed to take off yesterday after some of the hopefuls boycotted the forum for a second time. The meeting, organised by the Isiolo Council of Imams branch, was aimed at averting a situation where all communities wrangle and field their own candidates. The first meeting scheduled two weeks ago failed to take off after some aspirants failed to show up.
