Kenya has lost three more elephants to poachers in the last four days. Two elephants were found dead with their tusks hacked off near Kuku Ranch on the border of Amboseli National Park and an old bull was found dead at Maasai Mara. This makes a total of 19 elephants lost since the year began. According to KWS officials, the poaching is being fuelled by the demand for ivory in China and Vietnam.
