KIKUYU Council of Elders has urged members of the community to avoid sex on the eve of the March 4 general election. The elders said all members should abstain from sex and alcohol at least 12 hours before the elections. The chairman of the elder’s vetting committee Muiruri Njuguna said the move will ensure victory as voters will be sober. “Traditionally, sex and alcohol were avoided when people were optimistic of victory especially on the eve of war or other big events like general election.
