Councillor wants fraud suit settled out of court

A Nairobi councillor wants an out-of-court settlement in a case in which he is accused of obtaining over Sh3 million from Elizaphason Mwaura. The case against Imara Daima Councillor Jairo Asitiba Atenya failed to take off after the prosecutor was reported to be unwell. The civic leader's lawyer did not object to the matter being adjourned.
