THE controversial bill which awarded President Kibaki Sh25 million retirement package will automatically become law if he has not assented. The Presidential Retirement Benefits (Amendment) Bill 2012 will automatically become law next week Thursday if the President ignores it. Kibaki did not indicate the fate of the Bill while rejecting the Retirement Benefits (Deputy President and Designated State Officers) Bill 2012 which meant to send off MPs with lucrative perks.
