High Court directs IEBC to respond to inmate registration case

The High Court has given the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission two days to file affidavits on a case concerning registration of prisoners as voters to participate in the March 4 polls. A non governmental organization had sued the IEBC in December last year over the voter registration deadline after it had declined to extend the exercise to accommodate prisoners.
