Hoteliers unite to conserve maasai Mara, Serengeti ecosystem

TOURIST facilities in the Maasai Mara and Serengeti National Parks generate high volumes of solid and liquid waste. Management of the waste has been a challenge to some of the facilities in the two national parks which share the Mara River ecosystem which impacts negatively on the Mara River and its tributaries.
