THERE were delays at the Likoni crossing channel yesterday morning after a ferry grounded due to low tide. MV Likoni, which is one of the newly acquired and renovated ferries overshot its ramp on the island side which caused heavy traffic as commuters struggled to get across. Kenya Ferry Services management made efforts to have MV Nyayo, MV Kwale and MV Kilindini carry the large number of commuters.
