A Congolese businessman yesterday denied stealing a two-year-old child from its mother. Claude Gaya, was released on a Sh300,000 cash bail and two sureties of a similar amount by chief magistrate Kiarie Waweru. Senior Superintendent of police Onesmus Towett asked Waweru to issue a warrant of arrest against Gaya's accomplice, Eli Loka Bokwala, who skipped court. Bokwala had been released on a police bond and was required to appear in court yesterday. The two men are accused of stealing the child from Lorita Kalida on Mama Ngina street on December 28 last year...
