New varsity education board to be launched

The launch of the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service Board next week sets the stage for the new body to select which candidates join public and private universities in September. Ministry of Education PS Belio Kipsang has said the new placement board, to replace the Joint Admissions Board, will be launched early next week by Education Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi. “We expect that all university admissions this year will be undertaken by the new placement board,” Kipsang said.
