Preparations for Thursday's party nominations in Nakuru entered their final leg yesterday with various party teams and security officials in the area holding meetings. This was after an Elections Observation Group on Tuesday named Nakuru as a possible violence hotspot in the nominations which has led to additional security measures in the county.
