A man crossing the Nairobi-Nakuru highway in Naivasha was hit and killed by a speeding vehicle on Sunday night. The car that was headed to Nakuru from Nairobi sped off from the scene. Residents barricaded the road and barred police from collecting the body for sometime following the incident that paralysed transport for more than two hours. They called on the government to erect bumps on the road saying at least one person is killed every fortnight by speeding vehicles.
