The Kiambu chapter of the Kikuyu Council of Elders has asked residents to reject aspirants who dish out money. Led by John Mwangi, the Kiambaa division chair, the elders said most youth in Kiambu use money dished out by politicians to buy alcohol and drugs. "There are some aspirants who are giving the youth money for their support. We will take legal action to stop them from destroying our youth, most of who are using the money to buy drugs and alcohol,"said Mwangi.
