The Kenya Revenue Authority has launched a sensitisation exercise for the online mode of filing tax returns dubbed iTax 's that seeks to enhance tax collection. Speaking in Mombasa yesterday, KRA’s deputy Commissioner in charge of communication and marketing Kennedy Onyony said the new mode will enhance voluntary compliance by clients. “The system is one its own as it will see customers register, file returns, and enquire their status as well as pay of tax online,” said Onyony.He said iTax was a re-branded form of integrated tax management system once tested in September 2007...
