An aspirant for Nairobi governors has promised to raise Sh50 billion to finance capital development projects through municipal bonds at the Nairobi Securities Exchange. TNA’s Jimnah Mbaru said the bonds will be issued to real estate companies and other investment groups to raise funds for constructing 100,000 low-cost houses per year and improving security and infrastructure.
