RIGHTS groups have written to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Keriako Tobiko asking him to review 54 cases pending against human rights activities in the country. Chairman of the National Association of Human Rights Activists Ken Wafula says some of the pending cases were framed by the police to frustrate the activists. He says human rights activists live under constant threats. Wafula said 16 activists have been threatened over their activities. He made the remarks in a press statement issued in Eldoret yesterday.
