ODM nominations in Nyatike flopped after two groups of supporters tore nomination papers and broke ballot boxes claiming the exercise would be rigged. Police hurled teargas canisters and fired in the air to disperse the crowd at Macalder trading centre. Several people were injured while some residents were disappointed that they did not vote.
