ODM completed its nominations in most areas in the North Rift where most of the party top leaders were given direct nominations. The party will today issue nomination certificates for its other aspirants in Eldoret and neighbouring counties of Pokot, Marakwet, Keiyo, Nandi and Trans Nzoia. In Eldoret Prof Margaret Kamar went in unopposed to contest the Uasin Gishu governor's seat while in Nandi ODM chairman Henry Kosgey was nominated unopposed to vie for the senator's position.
