NINE people yesterday perished in a grisly road accident involving a passenger bus and a trailer at Manyani along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway. The accident occurred after the the collided head on with an oncoming trailer as the driver tried to overtake a lorry. Taita police boss Samson Kinne said eight passengers died on the spot and another succumbed to injuries at Voi hospital.
