A suspected thief was arrested at Equity Bank in Kericho town on Saturday. The woman and her partner tried to rob Monica Chebet of Sh40,000. "I was sorting the money into various denominations when two women asked me to help them fill some forms,” Chebet said. “As I was explaining the process to one of them, the other stole Sh8,000 from my purse.” Chebet confronted the woman but the other escaped during the argument.
