Four in court over illegal chemists

A Makadara court has issued a warrant of arrest to five persons who failed to appear before court. The five are among nine persons arrested in a joint operation between police and Kenya Pharmacy and Poisons Board on Saturday and yesterday for illegally selling medicine in Kayole. Resident magistrate Linda Kosgey forfeited Sh10,000 bail granted to Winnie Gatiria, Gladys Taabu, Nancy Ncekei, Jackline Lukeyo and Rodgers Agan and ordered prosecutor Jacinta Ndavi to avail them before her on March 28.
