Eight survivors of sexual violence during the post-election violence and four Kenyan civil society organizations have brought a constitutional complaint against the attorney general and five other senior government officials. The petitioners have asked the court to compel the government to investigate and prosecute the perpetrators and to provide redress for the crimes. The case is going to be heard on Tuesday 25th March before Justice Isaac Lenaola.
