Learning in two secondary schools in Mai Mahiu, Naivasha was grounded after sections of the institutions burnt down. Some students of Mai Mahiu Boys Secondary School allegedly set the principal's office on fire at 4am destroying property worth thousands of shillings. "The fire did not spread to adjoining offices and classrooms as teachers and students moved swiftly to put it out," said Naivasha subcounty education officer Kabaki Mbugua.
