WARRING communities in Tana Delta may have buried the hatchet after they anointed outgoing Garsen MP Danson Mungatana to vie for the Tana River County governorship. The ceremony, known as bisa madzi (spraying of water in Pokomo language) was officiated by the Pokomo, Wardei and Ormo commuties. It was witnessed by hundreds of residents who turned up at Miembeni, in Hola, the district’s headquarters.
