An 80-year-old man who has allegedly been defiled a five-year-old girl has been arrested by police. The grandfather Francis Ngoroi Karekia was arrested at Giathiga village in Itabua, in Embu West. Karekia was discovered by chance after the the girl's grandmother saw the girl walking with difficulty. She had also noticed blood spots on the girl's underwear. She reported the matter to the police Embu police boss Gasper Makau said the girl was asked where she was ailing from.
