A man was yesterday charged before a Nairobi court with impersonating an intelligence officer and stealing a lorry worth Sh5.5 million. David Hinga denied the charges of falsely presenting himself as a procurement officer from the National Intelligence Service wishing to buy a lorry from Toyota Kenya Ltd last November. Hinga denied other charges of stealing a car and forging a local purchase order from the Ministry of Internal Security. Magistrate Lucy Mbugua ordered that he be remanded at the Industrial Area police station for seven days to allow the police to complete their investigations.
