The Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) Women's Africa Cup Sevens was held at the Machakos Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The one day event saw Kenya host eight teams to a grueling tournament that drew in hundreds of spectators. Present were Machakos County minister for tourism and sports Faith Wahome, women's rugby director Paula Lanco , CAR executive members Gifty Annan-Myers , Jean Luc Barthes, Susan Carty and Kenya Rugby Union chairman Mwangi Muthee.
