A fireman yesterday told the court that he was instructed by a police officer to cut into pieces a billboard of Ikon Media Prints last year. Amos Olali said the 30m-long billboard had fallen on Waiyaki Way, causing a heavy traffic jam. The Nairobi City County assistant fire officer said he received a distress call through the 999 number requesting special service on the busy highway. Testifying before High Court judge David Majanja, Olali said they were requested to remove the fallen billboard.
