WORKERS unions affiliated to the Central Organisation of Trade Unions on Friday protested against what they termed as "government’s attempts" to sabotage Cotu. Hundreds of workers demonstrated on the streets of Nakuru town. They said the Public Servants Trade Union lacks a vision to represent workers across the country. Kenya Plantation and Allied Workers Union deputy secretary general Thomas Kipkemboi said Pusetu lacks grassroots officials where majority of Kenyan workers are.
