The 2013 Bamburi Super series has been reconstituted with existing franchises being renamed. All six Kenyan franchises have adopted Swahili names. Ngong Road sides Impala, Total Nondies and Lunch Bar Quins will form the Swila (Cobras) franchise. Previously, Quins were paired with Nakuru RFC and the move is likely to attract competition for places from the three sides.
