More than 100 URP aspirants who lost during party nominations have blamed their national office for the fate which befell them. In a protest letter addressed to party officials, the aspirants drawn from Chepalungu, Sotik, Bomet and Konoin constituencies said the exercise was not conducted in a professional manner. "We paid huge amounts of money for nomination and it is unacceptable that our party used cartons as ballot boxes and exercise books as ballot papers" the letter read in part.
