A school owned by the Catholic Church was yesterday ranked the best school in Murang’a in last year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education. Bishop Kairo Education Centre, run by the Catholic Diocese of Murang’a, emetged top in the county with a mean score of 367 marks. Reverend Herman Kihuha, a teacher at the school, said the performance is a great boost to the school which performed poorly last year. “We are very happy and excited with the news that we are the top school in Murang’a.
