Water minister Charity Ngilu yesterday urged President Kibaki to ignore Prime minister Raila Odinga's protests over the appointment of two deputy Inspector General of police. Ngilu said by blocking the appointment of Grace Kaindi, a Kamba, Raila did not mean well for the Kambas.He asked Kibaki to go ahead and gazette the new appointees. “I am shocked that Raila can block an appointment meant to honour the Kamba people by the President," said Ngilu.She accused Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka of keeping quite as "Raila plots to rob of the Kamba people their influential position"...
