WB gives Sh300 million for Eldoret markets

The World Bank has given Sh300 million to the Municipal Council of Eldoret to help expand markets in the town. The funding has been provided under the Kenya Municipal Programme which has benefited several other municipalities in the country. "We are already expanding some of the markets to give our traders areas where they can operate without difficulties," said mayor William Rono.
