yuMobile lowers cross network charge by 20%

yuMobile has cut its calling rate to other networks from Sh3.60 per minute to Sh3. Customers on its new Karibu tariff will now pay 50 cents per second , but this is subject to Sh1 daily charge for subscribing to the tariff. The network is reviewing its rates in line with a countrywide campaign targeting the youthful market. Its also the first rate cut since the Communication Commission of Kenya cut the Mobile Termination Rate in November from Sh2.21 to sh1.44.
