More than 10 schools that were caught up in Isiolo’s tribal skirmishes last year performed poorly in the KCPE examination. Speaking to the press yesterday, Isiolo Knut executive secretary Dadhe Boru said the KCPE mean score had dropped from 38 to 36 points this year. He urged government to beef up security so that students do not have to miss out on classes as happened last year. Boru said students can only perform well in a conducive learning environment.
