Embu Deputy Governor Dorothy Nditi has urged Mbeere residents not to over depend on miraa and invest in education. Nditi asked residents of Mbeere North and South subcounties, where miraa is the main cash crop, to invest highly in education as miraa negatively affects the mental health of the consumers. “Although miraa brings you a lot of money, education will help you to manage the money,” Nditi said.
