A 30-year-old Embu man yesterday hanged himself on a tree with his sweater after his wife jilted him over a domestic quarrel. James Atandi committed suicide yesterday at Kamugere village in Embu North district after his wife reportedly left him. He hanged himself outside his sister-in-law's house after his efforts to talk to his wife for reconciliation bore no fruits. His sister-in-law Mary Njoki said she saw a man outside her house dangling from a tree and she started screaming for help.
