A University of Nairobi student was yesterday charged with raping a colleague at the institution's hostel. David Ochieng denied the charges before resident magistrate Miriam Mugere. He was remanded at Central police station as police continue with investigations. Ochieng, who is said to be the personal assistant to Students Organisation of Nairobi University chairman, Babu Owino, is accused of raping a second year student at State House hostel on August 2.
