A man has denied obtaining Sh2 million through fraud. Stephen Kamau obtained the money from a man by pretending he would order that he would order for him a Toyota Hilux Surf from Japan. Thika resident magistrate Wesley Cheruiyot heard that Kamau committed the offence on August 1 last year. The accused was remanded after he failed raise a Sh2 million bond with surety of a similar amount. The case, led by chief inspector Kenneth Kiruai, will be heard on March 26.
