KIENI residents have accused the Kenya Forest Service guards of killing three donkeys and two cows. The more than 100 resident said the guards shot the animals dead after they found them grazing Mt Kenya forest. Another donkey was injured during the incident. They demanded more than Sh 200,000 from the KFS as compensation. The residents also demanded the immediate transfer of the all KFS officers in the forest saying they are involved in illegal logging.
