Murang’a governor hopeful Mwangi wa Iria yesterday named Gakure Monyo his running mate for the seat. Speaking to the press at Kenol after a meeting with other TNA aspirants from the county, Mwangi said his choice of Monyo will help in the equal distribution of resources in the county. Mwangi said he consulted the other TNA aspirants before he settled for Monyo, who hails from Gatanga in the lower parts of Murang'a.
