Kiambu traffic boss accused of corruption fell ill after anti-graft officers served him with court summons, a court heard yesterday. Chief Inspector Gabriel Mbiti Mulei was due to appear before Mombasa Chief Magistrate Stephen Riech yesterday to answer to his charges. This followed a High Court order giving the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission the green light to charge him. Mulei, through lawyer Jared Magolo, said EACC officers posted his court summons all over his police post leading to his poor health.
